The initiative will allow visitors to use Salik’s E-Wallet payment solution across all paid parking areas at DXB, covering 7,400 designated spaces across Terminals 1, 2, 3, and the Cargo Mega Terminal.
This new system is designed to create a smoother parking experience while reducing congestion at the airport.
Salik will integrate its E-Wallet System with existing car park management systems used by the airport’s car park concessionaire, facilitating easy payments directly from Salik accounts.
The aim is to streamline the parking process and ensure multiple payment channels remain available for users.
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, emphasized the importance of parking as a key touchpoint in the overall airport experience, stating that the collaboration with Salik will simplify parking and reduce waiting times.
Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, CEO of Salik, highlighted that with over 4.7 million vehicles already linked to Salik accounts, this partnership aligns with Dubai’s smart city ambitions and enhances the convenience of digital payments for customers.
The implementation of the e-wallet system is expected to support Dubai Airports’ goal of achieving smart, sustainable operations and providing frictionless travel experiences for future passengers.
